I'm too ITIL for Milan...

... or am I? It seems not - tomorrow is my first trip to Milan (and Italy), and after a rather early start (06:50 from Gatwick and my first Easyjet experience) I should have all day in Milan and then north to Monza (where I'm staying). The training location is further east towards Vimercate. It sounds more complicated than it is, I'm sure.

I've picked a boutique hotel in Monza as it's reasonably convenient for both Milan and Vimercate.

Things to do in Monza:
  • The Parco di Monza (Monza Parl) which is apparently the largest enclosed park in Europe, and (I think) right next to the hotel.
  • The Monza F1 motor circuit is also close, so might pop by
Things to do in Milan:
  • The Duomo cathedral - and its roof-top tour!
  • Leonardo da Vinci Museum of Science and Technology
  • Torre Velasca - a quirky castle-like skyscraper
  • Shopping (or window-shopping) at Armani, Gucci, Prada
