A slightly geeky New Year entry this time, as most of my pictures seem to relate to the unearthing (from the attic) of my old BBC Model B computer, from 1983!
Yes it still works, although shortly after this
demo it started smoking. Probably best to
keep it aired and not use it on the carpet!

We celebrated in our recently adopted style of launching sky lanterns into the post-midnight air. We must have been lucky last year in getting still air, because this year proved a bit more tricky, with the flaming articles threatening the garden (and those of a few neighbours).
