I've found it! Thank Google!

What a day!!! The morning started with a message saying a certain process has reach absolute completion, so we can all move on properly now...

The training all went smoothly UNTIL we realised no one could access their online exams, due to a slight mix-up with the date. As this was AFTER I'd given out the scenarios for people to check for any strange English words/phrases (which had been printed in UK) we had to get them re-requested, and then requested AGAIN as some people's scenarios were now not the right one, and some people would have been disadvantaged. Eventually this was done and we started the exam around 15:30 instead of the planned 14:00. The tension was eased when the delegates got stuck into the right papers, and 8 passed, and the 9th failed by only one point. A shame for him, but a great performance from then, especially after the delay.

This put us back a little timing-wise, so Service Operation will have to be compressed into 2 days, but that shouldn't be too bad - not as unfamiliar to most people as Transition.

MEANWHILE I'd had a complete triumph on the Wonka front. After checking and checking I just knew that the location shot with the church in the background had to be Mariahilfkirche due to the steeple shape, unless they'd chosen a whole different town, which seemed unlikely.

See the steeple in the background?
And the two buildings in front of it?
The only steeple that 'sharp' is

Using googlemaps you can see a road (Lilienstrasse)
leading away from the church at the right angle to
look back southwest and see the church above
buildings slightly on the left.

I'd actually walked along that street but
not been able to identify the view,
mostly because there are TREES in the way.

Using Google StreetView...
If you go far enough away so that the steeple
would appear above the two buildings,
you can't see anything -
neither church nor buildings!

BUT... using GoogleEarth with
3D buildings turned on, you can
position your viewpoint so the church
appears at the right place behind the
two buildings, and now you have
the location of where the shop
WOULD HAVE BEEN

You can't easily get a good StreetView image as
a) the viewpoint is usually from the street,
not the pavement, and
b) some parts are blurred out

so I'll be reporting from there tomorrow
morning, about 07:30 before work!

AFTER the exams were finished, 5 of us headed
to town for some (window) shopping and food at
the Augustiner pub (1328).

It's CHRISSSSSS-MASSSSS

On way back to the hotel, I noticed this
statue of what looks like Prince Philip,
incongruously in a leather jacket.
