Post Cardiff I Remember

Following the recent series of Torchwood (which we watched avidly) I've been sent to do 3 running-around Service Management In Action games in Cardiff (don't mention the rugby).

As luck would have it, we needed to get something resubmitted to Companies House. Today. Suddenly I put two and two together and got hand-delivery. Result! Saved a few pounds postage and vastly reduced the risk of a £100 fine. The googlemaps directions got me close. A big sign looming out of the darkness saying COMPANIES HOUSE did the rest. Luckily reception is open, and it seemed quite a few other people had been making such timely deliveries also.

That sorted, I made for the hotel, which seemed quite a way in the dark and rain but wasn't too bad, once I'd negotiated a few one-way roads.

Found my own boutique hotel
(Jolyon's) right on Cardiff Bay
Nice decor and friendly welcome.
Parking lacking but sorted in nearby carpark.

Looking south east out to Cardiff Bay

Looking back towards the Torchwood 'Hub'

Yes - the columns change colour
Took me a while to notice
(of course)

Cafe on little pier in the bay

Torchwoodiness
Some kind of fan wall or shrine

Oops - things change,
but not for the better
according to many

Suit up!
Ianto and Barney Stetson agree

Back towards Mermaid Quay

Apartments (I think)

Bosphorus Cafe, but not on the actual Bosphorus
(we did that for real, remember?)

Going back to the Hub and illuminated columns

Epic!

Good night from Cardiff
