Cardiff Baywatch

Last day in Cardiff. I take a stroll to get my vehicle from the almost-local carpark, which is another chance to get some more pictures...

Lots of buildings here have a nautical,
ship-like theme. It's almost like
art-deco Florida. But not quite.

Still waters at 08:00

The crane wasn't ACTUALLY
holding up the lamp-post,
just my fabulous
positioning

Reminds me of

St. Davids Hotel & Spa
Maybe next time?

Goodbye Torchwood locations!

Me at the bay.
With towers coming out my head!

Today's course went reasonably well. They did reasonably well most rounds, although the complexity of some of the Round 2 incidents confused people for a while. Near the end of Round 3 the laptop refused to take scheduling instructions so I had to extrapolate from the last known point. That went OK, and the fourth round was a very creditable result, where the service-desk had the highest percentage of first-line fixes I've seen. Marvellous.
