Fearless Vampire Killers

We got glam'd up for the Fearless Vampire Killers gig at the Camden Barfly last month.

Leather jacket - check.
Blue and purple hair - check.
Eyeliner - check.
Hot girlfriend - check.

Cheers!

They gave us masks on entry to the upstairs room.
Bohemian Rhapsody anyone?

They look rather spooky -
looks like an Auton from Dr Who

First up was Tonight We Run, whom we
initially mistook for Justin Bieber lookalikes
while waiting downstairs. I quite liked their
second song, but I forget the title.

Next on were Never Say Maybe. I'd noticed
the lead singer in the audience beforehand,
acting slightly eccentric. Once on stage,
he certainly displayed no lack of confidence.

The third band was Stars of the Search Party.
They were good, but by this time my
appetite for screamo had rather waned.

I think 2 supports acts was pushing it,
3 an act of extravagance, although I
did like how all the bands watched and
supported each other.

At last the Fearless Vampire Killers appeared!

After the gig Cat meets up with the band.
Impressively Kier recognised her,
even with different hair and clothes
- awesome.

Laurence

Cyrus - love the goggles.
Goggles are cool.
