Banged up in Oxford

I was sent to run two days of our SMIA (Service Management In Action) business simulation games for Oxford County Council at an off-site centre.

Is this where I join Fox IT?
This gave most people a start as
they entered the room.

The games went pretty well, and the delegates were all fairly engaged and enjoyed the increasing performance during the rounds. One team was rather inventive and moved the engineers to beside the service desk, which worked pretty well. Another team tried to 'pay' to resolve an incident with fake money they didn't have! I soon spotted that, though :)

Without a paddle

I steer clear of the Wicker Man,
just in case

I arrive at the Hotel Malmaison
to meet Kristina, who had been
in Oxford all day.

Dinner started with a russian salad
and crispy belly pork

Duck! (with blackberries)
Kristina went for the salmon

The prison landings are striking

We are on the top level

I think this room's secure enough...

...as do the windows.

We retire for the night :)

Breakfast! The fruit and yoghurt
were very refreshing

I go for Eggs Benedict
- one of my favourites

Kristina enjoys bacon and waffles.

Kristina went to see more of Oxford, and I had another day of SMIA games.
We thoroughly enjoyed our days (and night) there, and hope to have more
adventures in the future, maybe further afield.
